The Vision of the Municipal Valuations Section is to be a competent leader in the valuation of property, with a reputation for delivering reliable appraisals in a professional manner.

The Municipal Valuations Section has a Mission to deliver a high quality and impartial valuation service to our customers and the community we serve to sustain a cost effective, just and accurate valuation roll in the provision of fair and equitable rates for the Council.

Our property valuations are performed by competent and well-trained employees in accordance with the prescriptions of the Local Government Municipal Property Rates Act of 2004 and Council policies.
