The Alfred Duma Municipality has a Corporate Services Department currently managed by the Acting Executive Director: Mrs Molefe.

The responsibilities of the Corporate Services Department include but not limited to the following:

Council Support Services
Provision of support services to the Council and its Committee
Administrative Services
Administrative & IT Support Services
Manage Information Technology Infrastructure
Render general office services
Manage records of the municipality
Render municipal services to internal & external clients
Human Resource Management Services
Provision of HRM and Development Services
Facilitate Recruitment, Selection and Induction of employees
Facilitate Training and Development for employees & Councillors
Facilitate employee benefits & compensation management
Ensure Employee Wellness and Safety
Re-align Organogram and Job Description
Provision of Legal Services
